Google search ads are one of the most popular ways of advertising on Google. They have changed over the years and now look less and less like ads; they are not as obvious as they used to be.

Google search ads appear on the main search results delivered by Google and have a small 'ad' text next to them.  Google search ads are used by the majority of businesses who advertise on Google as customers can be very close to the buying stage when they make a direct search.
